MSB BRINGS IN A NEW PROMOTION

Malawi Savings Bank has introduced a new promotion called ‘Cash Splash’ to run from September 1 up to December 31 this year.

MSB Retail Manager Qochiwe Bwanali said this on Wednesday in Blantyre on the sidelines of a second draw of the bank’s other promotion called ‘Phindu’.

Bwanali said the new promotion is aimed at scaling up the banks financial inclusion drive and saving culture among Malawians.

“MSB would like to, not only increase awareness about our services, but also heighten the saving culture in the country as we rope in more people to access banking services,” said Bwanali.

She said entry into the ‘Cash Splash’ promotion is simple as one has to open and maintain a savings or current account with K10, 000 or more.

“ The prizes include K50,000, k30,000, K20,000 and four K5,000 consolation prizes every two weeks with a grand prize of K250,000 shopping voucher at any retail or wholesale shop,” Bwanali said.

During the draw for ‘Phindu’ promotion, lucky customers went away with 5bicycles, 10 cell phones and 10 work suits.

One has to deposit k50, 000 or more in a fixed account to enter the ‘Phindu’ promotion which runs up to October 28.

Prizes include maize mills, bags of fertiliser and tobacco bale pressing machines to be given away during the grand draw.
