MSB FETES CUSTOMERS
Daily Times, Friday September 17, 2010
Malawi Saving Bank (MSB) on Wednesday 15th September 2010 brought
together some of its prominent and prospective clients for a ‘thank
you’ dinner at Hotel Victoria in Blantyre.
Speaking when he addressed the guests , MSB Acting Chief Executive
Officer Kayisi Sadala said the Bank would not compete based on price
but on quality of service.rather service.
“Bank products are almost the same wherever you go. We will therefore
make sure we give out the best service by responding to your needs
promptly,” Sadala said.
He commended the business community for partnering with the bank,
saying, as a Government wholly-owned Bank, it is the safest place
to keep money.
Sadala also said the Bank’s Directors are locally based a development
he said facilitates speedy decision making for its clients.
Speaking on recent developments at the Bank, Sadala said the institution
had just graduated to one of the latest banking systems known as
Rubikon which has replaced Bankplus.
“This will ensure new products such as internet banking and efficient
services for our clients. Those of you not yet with us, I ask you
to bank with us” Sadala said.
Speaking at the event, prominent entrepreneur Jimmy Koreia Mpatsa
commended the Bank for keeping in the step with modern banking demands.
(change this statement, it does not sound well)
He said it was phenomenal that the Bank which used to be associated
with sloppy civil- service as a Post Office, had catapulted itself
to be amongst the giants on the market.
“I will not speak for anyone here because each one of us is bound
to have their own experience with the Bank. Personally, I have found
this Bank to be convenient” said Mpatsa.
Mpatsa called on the bank to ensure it is up to date with modern
technology by, among other things, introducing internet banking.
“I do not want to be talking to the Bank Manager all the time. I
want to transact right in my office”, he said.
